Valli Produce

Everything is overpriced. Produce ALWAYS spoils within 2-3 days. So it’s not worth buying unless you’re planning to use it that night. Meat is questionable and usually smells/looks suspect with a large quantity discounted. I wouldn’t trust it. Highly recommend checking expiration dates on anything you buy, especially if it’s on sale

Valli Produce is a huge store with a lot of products. However you must be careful as to what you buy. I got fruit and two days later it was all molded I would not recommend the fruit

I shop the produce and on occasion get a canoli in bakery. The produce section is humugous with items I use every day and items... And the shock when I first walked in and found everything I thought I'd never find in this city ( because I hadn't yet after shopping many grocery stores for a year ) I'm enjoying being able to cook with international produce and make any recipes I've been restricted from trying bc I couldn't find a particular fresh ingredient. My friend took me here a month ago and I'm returning twice a week buying new items I have wanted to try for years without an hour + hr drive to buy in Chicago now cooking with and eating a bigger variety for the first time . I'm a daily from scratch at home cook so I'm thrilled . As far as everyday produce I've eaten always say like a bag of yellow creamy brand name 5 lbs potatoes bought sale priced 1.49 I kid u not . Celery hearts. Purple sweet potatoes, Asian mushrooms, fresh tumeric, all kinds of fruits hundreds more you'll find it here . Parking is ample check out is smooth and fast .

Love the variety available here, but sad to see they prioritize online pick up over handicap spots

Ok... I love how much variety this place offers! The prices seem fair (not the liquor area, though), and if you can't find what you're looking for, they probably have something similar. They pack this store with goods for every cuisine, and various countries are represented. They have a great cheese selection, a deli, bakery area, and meat market. Don't let the word "produce" make you think it's mostly fruits and veggies (although their is a great selection there, too). I am excited to try (some) new things!
